Spawned from the aftermath of several previous bands, Joe Harrison, Sean Carroll and Dillon Casey came together to form the New Archaic in 2006. With the help of Grammy award winning producer/engineer, Steve Churchyard, the band recorded 4 instrumental tracks at Big Fish Studios.
After what seemed like an endless search for a singer, the band finally was introduced to Tolan Shaw in early 2007. Shortly after inception, the band went back into the studio to finish recording what would become “The New Archaic EP,” released independently in 2008. With the band constantly working on new material and a developing sound, as well as performing at reputed clubs such as the Casbah and Anthology, the future looks bright.
