Do you have questions about having an Estate Plan, but you are not ready to talk to an attorney? You already have a written plan, but it’s been years since you’ve looked at it? There is a free educational program, just for you!
The "It's Your Estate" Workshop Series is presented in four weekly sessions, with two 1 1/2 hour classes, including written materials, question and answer wrap-up and surveys.
Our goal is to provide you with the education you need to make good decisions regarding your estate plan. Professional fiduciary, Peter Kote says, “No commercial or for-profit sponsors; No speaker will receive attendees’ name, address or phone number; No financial or insurance product will be sold; No charity will solicit you for a donation. OUR MISSION – To promote self-awareness of our own financial and estate plans; learn practical suggestions on how to find competent and ethical advisors and encourage tax-wise charitable giving.” Our sponsoring charities fulfill their sponsorship role by providing the location and promotion for the program, as well as keeping your personal information safe. They are; Air and Space Museum, American Heart Association, Casa Foundation, Fallbrook Music Society, Foundation for Senior Care, KPBS, Sharp Healthcare Foundation, USS Midway Museum. This program is made possible by the sponsorship of these charities only and that’s why we can offer this great series of classes without selling anything.
In this way, you have the opportunity to get your estate planning questions answered at no cost to you, by professionals who perform the planning and implementation of trusts and estates every day.
