A Digital Single Lens Reflex camera (DSLR) camera has all the controls to produce stunning photographs, though most DSLR users use their camera in Automatic mode and lose all creative control of their photography. Regain your creativity and improve your camera skills! Explore all basic camera controls; ISO, aperture and shutter speeds and reading your histogram for exposure control, white balance and lighting, composition, and shooting in RAW versus JPEG modes. Please bring your camera with its manual, memory card and a charged and/or spare battery. If possible, please bring your laptop. Optional readings are The Digital Photography Book 1, 2 or 3 by Scott Kelby.

Where: Bravo School of Art, 2690 Historic Decatur Rd, Studio 206, San Diego, CA 92106. Google Maps
