Let your imagination soar as you create a Bird, Butterfly, Dragonfly or Abstract Winged Creature! Design a pattern or use one provided. Cut your shape out of thin colorful brass or copper that’s been heat-painted by the instructor with heat, flux and silver. Or, color your metal with a chemical patina. Hammer, emboss, stamp, fold, form, forge, fringe and cold-connect using various tools and metalsmithing techniques. Add linear elements of wire you twist, coil, spiral, wrap and sew to your form. Add colorful glass beads and a spiral brass hook. Tools and materials are provided and no experience is required! The class takes place on Sunday, June 12th, 2011 at 2 – 6pm
