Help Make Old Town History Come Alive!
Volunteer at one of the most popular parks in California! Become part of the enthusiastic team that celebrates our diverse heritage with over 5 million visitors a year. We are recruiting passionate people that have an interest in helping preserve and sharing the history of a unique historic community. Come attend our Tour Guide Orientation and see whether you want to give educational tours for school groups in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
Join us on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park’s McCoy Interpretive Center for a free Tour Guide Orientation/Open House. Google Maps
This Orientation will give you an overview of the Educational Tour Program in the park. Free Lunch at noon will be provided. RSVP is strongly suggested.
We are offering Tour Guide Training on June 18th at Seeley Stables starting at 10 a.m. and with a lunch break at noon. New volunteers are also required to attend the 3 hour volunteer orientation starting at 1 p.m. in the McCoy building.
