The La Jolla Renaissance Singers Present A Mother's Day Early Music Concert

The La Jolla Renaissance Singers, conducted by Wendy D. W. Clemente, perform vocal music of the Renaissance. The show takes place on May 8th, 2011 and is free with museum admission. This concert made possible by the generous support of The San Diego Early Music Society and The San Diego Museum of Art.

About the group: The La Jolla Renaissance Singers (formerly the UCSD Madrigal Singers) have been bringing the finest of early European choral music to the San Diego area Since 1964. Based in La Jolla, California, the elite choir draws members from across the county. The group performs vocal music written from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance, with occasional forays into the Romantic and Modern periods. In period costume, the group performs in concert halls, museums, and churches, as well as in libraries, parks, and for private parties.
