San Diego Public Library Hosts: Native American Book Discussion Series

The San Diego Public Library is proud to announce a Native American Book Discussion series. This inaugural year, the focus will be placed on two acclaimed novels: Louise Erdrich’s "Love Medicine," and Sherman Alexie’s "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian."

Leading San Diego State University Native American studies scholars Dr. Joanna Brooks and Dr. David Kamper will facilitate the discussions, which take place at 6:30 PM on Mondays, November 7, 2011 and November 28, 2011 in the Wangenheim Rare Book Room of the Central Library, located at 820 E Street in downtown San Diego.

Louise Erdrich’s "Love Medicine," will be discussed on November 7, 2011 and Sherman Alexie’s "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian" will be discussed on November 28, 2011. The event is free and open to the public.
