Howard Gardner Community School, a new K-7 public charter, will be at Hope in the Park on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 1:00-6:30 PM to promote the opening of our school in August 2012.

Please visit our booth to participate in various music, art and yoga lessons taught by our certified teachers throughout the day. Obtain free resources about your child’s learning strengths, parenting, and approaching education holistically. Sue Black, co-founder of Howard Gardner Community School, stated HGCS is a school that is caring and compassionate, and holds high expectations for all learners. We are a school community where every child will learn, grow, thrive and be happy. HGCS is an independent charter, created by local educators, dedicated to teaching the “whole child” based on Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences.

We are looking for volunteers to distribute information about our school. For more information, or to sign-up for volunteering, please visit us at www.HGCSchool.org or call 619-934-0300.
