Raucous band of Irish transplants creating a definitive shout out to the masters of Irish song past and present. Building a fervent fan base comparable to that of jam band rockers like Phish and Dave Matthews Band, The Young Dubliners have over the years become notorious for the whirling jig pits that erupt at their live shows.
While our nation was born on the fields of Lexington and Concord, Irish American Folk Punk was born in San Diego. In an homage to our founding fathers and a respect to never give up, Lexington Field brings that determination to the forefront. They have been rocking out their style of “Irish American Folk Punk” since 2007. Their catchy, upbeat music is best described as a mix of Flogging Molly, Yellowcard, Great Big Sea and Mumford & Sons. The event will take place on September 16, 2011 at the Belly Up Tavern. Doors open at 8:30 PM and concert begins at 9:00 PM.
