April 2, 2012: Picture Me: Fun and Creative Self-Portraits (9:00 am)
Come learn the different techniques of self portraiture! In this session, students will learn all about the different ways to express themselves in portraits. Learn how to show the qualities and characteristics that make you special with photography!
April 3, 2012: New Landscapes: Panoramic Photo Collages (9:00 am)
Create large-scale panoramic photo-collages of Balboa Park! Students will photograph in natural landscapes and make original artworks by creatively assembling multiple images.
April 4, 2012: MOPA Geographic, Photo Safari (9:00am includes free admission to San Diego Zoo)
This exciting day begins at the world famous San Diego Zoo as your child is led on a photographic safari. Students will complete the day by creating an exciting animal photo collage from their photos!
April 5, 2012: Fun in the Sun, Cyanotype Printing Mania (9:00am)
Discover how to use the sun to make photographs! The Cyanotype, or Sun Print, is one of photography’s oldest processes. Students will learn how to combine modern digital photography with Sun Printing!
April 6, 2012: Hands on, Get Crafty With Your Camera! (9:00am)
Explore the crafty side of photography! Explore digital photography, photo collage, and more while visiting exciting locations in Balboa Park!
