ArtStop: 'Hands of Dr. Moore'

ArtStops provided by the San Diego Museum of Art are 15 minute, staff-led tours of one to three works on view at the museum. On April 26, 2012 museum curators and educators will discuss "Hands of Dr. Moore" at 12:00 pm. The tour is free.

The inscription reads, “These are the hands of Dr. Clarence Moore of Los Angeles, California. They trim the tree of life so that it is renewed and does not die. Diego Rivera painted them in 1940.”
