Join instructor Patricia Hyman with her workshop Drawing I at the Bravo School of Art.
Enjoy a degree of basic drawing skills that will aid beginners to advanced artists. Focus on line, value, form, lighting and learn techniques to render them. The way light falls on objects in a still life will be an intricate part of the lesson. Begin with an outline and end with a composition of rich shades of light and dark shapes. Learn how to separate objects and forms without line by using various degrees of lights and darks.
Various exercises will be taught to help you focus and approach with a loose intent. Draw from a creative arrangement of objects, known as a still life. Materials list provided upon registration.
Classes will be held on January 25, 2012 from 6pm – 9pm, February 29, 2012 from 6pm – 9pm, March 23, 2012 from 1pm - 4pm, and April 27, 2012 from 1pm - 4pm.
