Spring Conference Dyslexia: Understanding And Interventions

On Saturday, April 28, 2012 the San Diego Branch of the International Dyslexia Association is hosting a 1-day conference for parents, educators, and professionals to learn about assessment and instruction for individuals with dyslexia and other related learning impairments.
Key-note speaker, Dr. Anita Archer, will share insights from her curriculum development and classroom teaching expertise.
Workshops include: Dyslexia Simulations, Morphology, Phonics, Memory and the Dyslexic Mind, Related Disabilities, Support Services - Speech, Audiology, Occupational Therapies, Assistive Technology, Identification and Remediation Process, Neuropsychological Assessment.
Partial scholarships are available for parents and teachers.
