Protea Gallery's First Opening Exhibit 'Protean'

Protea Gallery is a new gallery opening in the heart of North Park. The opening reception is Friday, December 7th, 2012 from 5 - 9 PM, Protea's first exhibit is a group show featuring seven artists from around the world and regionally.

Two large landscapes figure prominently in the exhibit, and relate to current issues between Israel and Palestine. One piece is done by an Iraqi Jewish artist, a landscape made of UN resolutions and the other by a Palestinian, a landscape of a destroyed village. The artists are on the same side - the peace side.
