"Twilight", "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", Judy Blume’s "Forever". What do all of these classic, bestselling books have in common? They are all books written for, and about, young adults. In this one-day workshop, author Laura Preble ("Queen Geek Social Club", Out) will guide you through a series of writing exercises and discussions designed to help you map out or flesh out your young adult novel idea.
Topics will include: character development, the use of slang and technology, and the state of the current YA publishing market.
