The Make-A-Wish Foundation Of San Diego Presents The 2nd Annual So You *Wish* You Could Skate Event.
High profile local media personalities and celebrities are converging on the Hotel Del Coronado’s ice skating rink for a one-of-a-kind ice skating competition, which is one of the Make-A-Wish’s line-up of events for Season of Wishes.
A creative spin on NBC’s hit show So You Think You Can Dance, the skating competition will raise awareness for Make-A-Wish’s six-week national Season of Wishes holiday campaign and overall goal to spread joy, hope and love this holiday season.
Held at the Hotel Del Coronado’s outdoor, beachside ice-skating rink on Wednesday, December 12 at 6:30 pm Wish Kids will be treated to a welcome reception with treats and hot cocoa, a meet & greet with media personalities and local celebrities and front row seats to the show.
The event is open to the public and guests will be able to enjoy the show in a viewing section right on the beach, adjacent to the rink with refreshments and a big-screen TV capturing the ice skating action.
The ice-skating rink will open to Wish Families for an evening of skating following the competition.
