"Kamera and Kiln" is a joint art exhibition and reception hosted by award winning artists Gerry and Claire Tietje.
Claire's ceramic art features Sumei-e brush painting, whimsical Tree Gems, and a collaborative project titled "Out Your Window in San Diego;" the latter contains image transfers of more than 200 common local birds photographed by Gerry. Gerry's artwork will feature landscape, flower and bird photographs.
The reception will be held on December 23rd, 2012 from 1-4pm.
The exhibition runs through January 11, 2013. Everything at Mission Trails is FREE! The Visitor Center is closed Christmas and New Year's. www.mtrp.org
