Two Christmas Eve traditional candlelight worship services are offered at First United Methodist Church of San Diego.
At 7:00 p.m. the Christmas story is told through congregational singing of carols and the voices of the Contemporary Singers.
At 9:00 p.m. the Chancel Choir provides the vocal backdrop.
Robert Plimpton plays the organ at both services and Dr. Jim Standiford offers the homily. In the darkness of the sanctuary the congregation participates in passing the light of Christ in candlelight. All are welcome.
