California Native Plant Society's February Chapter Meeting

California Native Plant Society will host a presentation by G. Timothy Gross, P.H.D., on "Plants in the San Diego Archeological Past." Let's learn what could be our oldest plant!
Starting at 6:30 p.m., preceding the main meeting, Valerie Philips of Las Palitas Nursery will speak about "Care of Oak Trees & Companion Plants."
Directions & Parking: Take Hwy 163 South to Park Blvd Exit. Turn left at Park Blvd and the left onto Village Place. The closest parking would be the Carousel/Spanish Village lot or the lot adjacent to the Natural History Museum. You can also take the Balboa Park Tram to the Prado stop and walk east along the Prado to the Casa.

Chapter Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. At 7 pm you can visit our sales table, get your mystery plant identified or enjoy a snack and chat with other plant lovers. We usually carry a small selection of native plants at our monthly meetings. "Natives for Novices" mini workshop before each meeting.
