World Thinking Day 2012

KPBS, the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum and the Girl Scouts of San Diego are proud to present World Thinking Day 2012, to encourage all children and families to learn more about their diverse and ever-expanding world.
The event will help launch the grand opening of the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum’s new location. It will feature informational booths on different countries, cultures, and global issues, hosted by local Girl Scout troops. Attendees will also enjoy cultural performances, explore new exciting hands-on exhibits, and other special surprises.
Each year on World Thinking Day, the Girl Scouts participate in activities and projects with global themes to honor their sister Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in other countries. Learn more here: http://www.girlscouts.org/who_we_are/global/world_thinking_day/.
Cost: $0 to $6 Girl Scouts who come in uniform will get FREE admission. Non-girl scout attendees will receive a discounted admission price of $5 with a printed out registration form. All other attendees must pay regular museum admission cost of $6.
