Mike Torrey will present work from his award winning photography book on Peru’s Machu Picchu, "Stone Offerings, Machu Picchu’s Terraces of Enlightenment," plus new images from his recent trip to the Great Wall in China.

You will see these two immensely popular “Wonders of the World” with hardly any visitors evident and discover their power to inspire hundreds of years after they were built.

Mike Torrey is a San Diego based architectural photographer and his book, Stone Offerings, won the 2010 Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Arts book by the Independent Book Publishers Association. His presentation last summer at MoPA, “Machu Picchu: A Centennial Celebration,” was completely sold out.

Advance ticket purchase is strongly suggested.

Cost: $8 for MOPA Members, $12 General Admission
