Join us for an invigorating afternoon on July 22nd from 1-3pm, at the UU Humanist Study/Discussion Group at the First Unitarian Universalisr Church of San Diego. At this discussion the film, "180 Degrees South" will be shown.
Our film is “180 Degrees South” a documentary directed by Chris Malloy and Jeff Johnson about a surface trip they took in 2012 from Ventura, California to south Patagonia.
Along the way they interview local residents and Tribal folk who are engaged in trying to save their land, forests, water, and wild animals. Malloy and Johnson experience adventure, physical trials and discoveries, and find that there is a great musical score and soul.
