The Museum will be open for 36 hours of continuous programming from Friday July 27 at 10:00 a.m. through Saturday, July 28 at 5 p.m.
On July 27th, Summer Salon Series will explore the documentation of contemporary histories present in The Invention of Glory through performance, documentary film, and installation.
The Yes Men will deliver the summers keynote lecture. Documentary, Century of the Self will portray Freud's theories in relation to controlling “crowds in an age of mass democracy.” American Realism, a play by Katherine Brook will repeat a one hour narrative, eight times throughout the night.
View an interview with The Third Party, an acoustic performance by Jacob Turnbloom, and installations by Stephanie Lie and Tim Schwarts. Create a Dream and Nightmare work in The Studio, and enjoy a cocktail amongst the evening’s happenings in the Rotunda.
