At the 5th Annual International Autonomous Robot Competition At Fleets on June 23rd & 24th, The Fleet Community Forum hosts 20+ teams of middle and high school students competing with robots designed using Roombas.
They must build an autonomous robot that can find its way through a set of fixed obstacles, locate an Infra-Red and visible home station beacon and activate a mechanical push-action switch at the home station.
Saturday will be Team setup, trial runs and technical presentations; with the actual competition on Sunday.
General public welcome, children must be supervised. Admission to the iARoC event is free. (Free with purchase of Admission to Galleries or Theater)
