THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST!
Docent Hilda Yoder explores a brief but unique period in art history when Jesuit priests brought religious prints to Mughal emperors in hope of converting them. Mughal artists used these prints, instead, to develop a radically new kind of "Mughal" painting. Rembrandt, in turn, collected Mughal paintings as inspiration for his own experimentations and innovations.
