Join instructor Lauren Becker Downey at the Bravo School of Art and learn the basics of traditional tapestry weaving as you explore a variety of joining techniques and the possibilities of making images with yarn.
Tapestry is a weft-faced weaving and you will learn exactly what that means. Students get to practice on a frame loom which is available to keep at the end of the lesson. Please bring a dinner fork, a hammer and scissors to the class.
