Boxed cakes are often used in the professional kitchen with a few additions from the pastry chef. Join Executive Chef Arleen Lloyd in an evening of cake baking where you'll learn the "how to's" of baking cakes just like the professionals. You'll learn how to manipulate the formula to create a number of different cakes from a box mix. The class will be held on March 9, 2012 beginning at 10:00 AM at Alchemy of the Hearth.
Bring an apron, two 8 inch by 2 inch cake pans, two 10 inch cake boards and containers to carry your creations home.
