This year's annual Axline Lecture features Philippe de Montebello, one of the museum world's most influential and articulate champions of integrity, authority, education, and public access. Philippe de Montebello served as director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 32 years and has been awarded both the National Medal of the Humanities and the National Medal of the Arts by the White House. He will speak at the James S. Copley Auditorium located inside the San Diego Museum of Art.

Admission: $10 for members, students, military, seniors and $15 for nonmembers. Tickets will go on sale April 1, 2012.
