Teen artists are invited to the San Diego Museum of Art to celebrate the special exhibition, "Dyeing Elegance: Textile Art of Kuboku and Hisako Takaku, 1936 – 2011."
Meet and mingle with other teen artists over café activities including art projects inspired by the obi, kimono, and textile paintings of Japanese artists Kuboku and Hisako Takaku. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with local artists/performers, to win free art materials through a prize giveaway, and to take part in an after hours visit to the galleries. Light refreshments will be served.
