The month of May is a time of celebration for the State of Israel and also for the House of Israel in Balboa Park. This celebration is even more special because of our renovated House!
You are invited to the House of Israel Lawn Program on May 20, 2012. Ethnic food will be served between 12-4 p.m. and the Program runs from 2-3:30 p.m. Enjoy Israeli food, Jewish friendship and sun!
Event Schedule:
2-2:15pm - The Connection, Ner Tamid Performance Troupe, Directed by Cara Freedman
2:20-2:40pm - Yochanan and Becko (Beth El Klezmer Comunity Orchestra) for some classic uplifting Israeli melodies
2:45-2:55pm - Tarbuton Israeli Cultural Center – Israeli Dance Troupe and Singing Group with Jennie Starr
3pm 3:10pm - San Diego Jewish Men's Choir with some up-beat hits from Eurovison
3:15-3:30 pm - DanceWithDalya, Israeli dancing with crowd participation

Membership: Our membership dues and donation keep us in operation as we receive no outside funding from the Federation or any other or- ganization. Please support us by renewing for 2012 your $25 membership.
