Junior Achievement of San Diego and Imperial Counties will celebrate the best of the business community’s “Past, Present, Future” at its annual San Diego Business Hall of Fame on Friday, November 2 at Hotel Del Coronado from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

The annual fundraiser will pay tribute to Walter Zable, past San Diego Business Hall of Fame laureate and founding father of Junior Achievement San Diego. The organization will also celebrate the accomplishments and contributions to the community of Joe Craver of Red Cross and Mary Walshok of University of California, San Diego as its 2012 laureates. Andre Hoss and Josh Knopman of Place~Mate, an innovative student-run company, will take the title of Young Entrepreneurs of the Year.

The 2012 honorees will join Malin Burnham, Ingrid Croce, David Hale, Irwin Jacobs and 60 men and women who have been honored since the event’s inception in 1986.

Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame laureates are selected for both their professional accomplishments and their gracious contributions to the city of San Diego. They personify the ideals of Junior Achievement and are emblematic of the lessons taught by its programs.

Junior Achievement’s “Past, Present, Future” theme Business Hall of Fame will feature a reception, cocktails, silent auction and dinner program with MC Bill Geppert. Tickets start at $375 and are available for purchase online. Complimentary valet parking will be provided.
