Join us on November 16th starting at 2:30pm for the Friday Talking Pictures Film Series, featuring a post-film discussion lead by guest speaker Professor Pierre Désir. This week the film, "Thelonious Monk: Straight, No Chaser" starring Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane and Jimmy Cleveland will be played.
About the Film:
A documentary film about the life of pianist and jazz great Thelonious Monk. Features live performances by Monk and his band, and interviews with friends and family about the offbeat genius.
