On November 16th, 2012 starting at 6pm, Project: Connect will host their eighth annual family-style Thanksgiving dinner for the students of Monarch School, an institution for San Diego children impacted by homelessness.
In the spirit of community, the dinner is served in a traditional family style. Donors, students and volunteers come together to share stories and break bread. Dinner is followed by the Harvest Festival, including carnival games, face painting, treats and prizes.
Each year, the event is put together through in-kind donations from businesses and community members. This year, Project: Connect is anticipating over 400 in attendance.
