Join instructor Sharon K Novak to design and create a pair of unique sculptural earrings in sterling silver using basic jewelry/metalsmithing techniques and tools!
Cut your earring shapes out of thin-gauge silver. Add texture to the surface with hammers, stamps, files or punches. Then bend or 'form' your earrings dimensionally. Add movement with linear elements of twisted, bent or spiraled wires. Create color contrast by 'cold-connecting' copper or brass elements with wires or rivets or by attaching colorful glass or semi-precious beads. Attach ear wires and wear your earrings home!
All tools and materials are provided.
