The San Diego IC Support Group is one of the oldest IC support groups in the nation. Group sponsors are C. Lowell Parsons, MD and Bruce S. Kahn, MD, FACOG. We welcome all men and women, their caring partners, family, and friends.
Our goal is to learn all that we can about IC, so that we can make well-informed decisions that impact our health in a positive way. We share our experiences – what helps and what doesn’t help the frequency and/or pain, what foods to avoid, what do to when we have a “flare”, and much more. Learning to cope with IC is, for some of us, one of the greatest challenges we face.
We meet five times a year on the first Sunday of February, April, June, October, and December.
Location: SDG&E Room, 3rd floor at Thornton Hospital, which is part of the UCSD Medical Center Campus, 9300 Campus Point Drive in La Jolla, CA 92037. Google Maps
UCSD charges a parking fee (pay station takes singles or credit card).
