On Wednesday, October 10, Sip at Flavor Del Mar is inviting guests to enjoy a four-course Piedmont wine dinner. Southern Wines & Spirits Italian Wines Specialist Marco Barrat will be at the event to introduce each course.
Beginning at 7 p.m., guests can enjoy La Scola Ruge, NV, followed by a first course of Gioia Ricotta Gnuddi, pork Bolognese and san marzano tomato paired with Bersano, Gavi, Piedmont, 2011.
The second course will feature Niman Ranch Veal Meatball, garlic, parsley and parmesan reggiano paired with Fratelli Giacosa Barbera D’Alba Bussia 2012.
Guests will be delighted with third course offerings, which include Sonoma Lamb Agnolotti, asparagus, chanterelles and crème fraiche, complemented by a fine glass of Revello Barolo 2007.
The grand finale will feature Butterscotch Budino, Italian pudding, crème fraiche, caramel and maldon sea salt paired with Albino Rocca Moscato D’asti 2010.
