Lecture: 'A Way With Words'

Martha Barnette and Grant Barrett, co-hosts of popular radio program "A Way With Words" (heard on stations across America and locally on KPBS), will present an hour long discussion of how the American English language has changed in the last three centuries.

In conjunction with the Museum’s special exhibition. Using works from Behold, America! as inspiration, these two incredible lexicographers will show the relationship of art to language and how both have shaped our American culture and identity.

Pricing: $7 members, students, seniors, military/$10 nonmembers
