The San Diego Kids Expo & Fair presented by Toyota is part businesses and non-profits on display, part fun fair and part music and dance festival. And definitely all kids!
October 20 - 21, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Businesses and charities! Expect to see 150 local and national companies that have things that make a child’s life better. Meet Karate instructors and soccer coaches. See music schools and swim instructors. Talk to modeling agencies and all kinds of businesses that are fun for kids. Plus meet charities making a difference in children’s lives.
Fun Fair! All throughout the event are things to do like an obstacle course by US Karate and inflatable jumpies. Little ones can “hang around” in the Tumble Gym Bus, which is a rolling indoor gym. And get their face painted. Play video games in the San Diego Rolling Video trailer.
How about the largest inflatable slide in the US by Maxx Bounce? It’s 4 stories tall and 175’ long! And Human Hamster Balls where you get inside a 6’ ball and they blow up the ball and you walk on water! And Laser Tag by Equinox with real military issue laser weapons!
You can see Mike Owen of San Diego Skateboarding when he is doing demos on the skateboard ramps! And much more!
4 Stages of Entertainment! See the Dance Masters!. These are the break dancers from the Black Eyed Peas, Rhianna and the movie "Step Up 2" in 3D. Then take a lesson from them on break dancing and popping.
See characters like Ronald McDonald, The Incredibear by John’s Pizza, McGruff the Crime Dog, Queen Bee, and the Tooth Keri. Also watch Karate demos, dance exhibitions and music. Lots of music. The Acoustic Stage has a different soloist every half hour for two days. They are all kids under 18 that have amazing talent. Some are already auditioning for X-Factor, the Voice and Americas Got Talent. How about 4 fashion shows by John Robert Powers and John Casablancas? One stage is Karaoke for all ages.
And when mom and dad need a break, they can stop in “Mommy’s lounge” and “Daddy’s lounge” where Jerome’s has massage chairs for mom and Direct TV has the game for dads. So come on down to the San Diego Kids Expo & Fair to experience everything for kids and their families!
Price: Adults, $6.00 / 12 and younger, free
