Now in its sixth year at MOPA, the San Diego Italian Film Festival has grown into an amazing conduit to enjoy Italian culture. From October 26th through November 11th, the festival features 17 spectacular movies that evoke laughter, tears, and passion.
Movie Description:
Alberto is the manager of a Post Office in a small town in the northwest of Italy. Under pressure from his wife Silva, he will do anything to transfer to Milan- even go as far as pretend he is disabled to get higher up on the transfer list! But this stunt backfires and as a punishment he is transferred to a small town near Naples, which, a person from then north, is a real nightmare. "Benvenuti al sud" (Welcome to the South) was made in 2010 and will run for 102 minutes.
