Now in its sixth year at MOPA, the San Diego Italian Film Festival has grown into an amazing conduit to enjoy Italian culture. From October 26th through November 11th, the festival features 17 spectacular movies that evoke laughter, tears, and passion.
Movie Description:
Nanni Moretti writes, directs and stars in this whimsical journey of self-discovery. Moretti gained international attention in 1994 when this film won Best Director award at Cannes. The film is presented in three chapters: In Vespa, Islands, and Doctors. These "diary entries" serve as an outlet for Moretti's internal journey and self-realizations of Italian culture. Caro Diario (Dear Diary) was made in 1993 and will run for 100 minutes.
