On October 28th, 2012 celebrate Halloween in a distinctly different way by taking a ride into the past aboard the “Halloween Express,” Poway’s own Baldwin Steam Locomotive. Hear Storyteller Charles Johnson and visit the haunted house—guaranteed to thrill and chill.
Children will delight in playing a variety of carnival-type games, racing ducks in the Fountain and making a Hallowe’en “Haunt” to take home. Sparks will fly as the Blacksmith Guild performs Metal Detonations in the dark of night, and Thriller Dancers will appear in the Gazebo.
New this year is a carved pumpkin contest; contest rules and registration form are available by e-mail at opphalloween@gmail.com. Most activities are free to the public.
