On September 7th starting at 7pm, come to the First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego for the Opening Reception for Margaret Fuller Exhibit.
The exhibit and brief talk includes information about Fuller's life, Transcendentalism, her views on women’s rights, education, class, slavery, and religion, and her world view as well as sketches of her family and friends.
About Margaret Fuller
Margaret Fuller (b1810) was a leading Transcendentalist (along with Emerson, Thoreau, and Alcott); a well-known literary critic, thinker, journalist, editor, and foreign-correspondent.
Refreshments will be provided.
