Hard Corps began their season with a victory against Salt Lake's "Salt City Shakers", but the travel B team had a rough time getting points for a win in consequent games throughout the season. The team was determined to excel, so with the leadership of their captains, they stepped up their training and the hard work paid off! They took a solid win against Humboldt Roller Girls "Widow Makers" in Eureka and hope to keep up the teamwork and calm determination to continue to win.

About the San Diego Derby Dolls
Founded in 2005, the San Diego Derby Dolls are the county's first modern roller derby league and only banked track league. The all-female league is also the nation's first hybrid league, competing on both the banked track (the inclined surface) and the flat track (on the ground). Derby Dolls are adult athletes of all ages, backgrounds and occupations --- including doctors, lawyers, firefighters and home makers --- that play competitive full contact roller derby across the nation.
About Roller Derby
Roller derby is the fastest growing sport in the world, according to the New York Times, with more than 1,000 leagues in 25 countries. It combines the hard hits of football and hockey with the speed of basketball and soccer. Unlike the '70s era roller derby, modern-day roller derby is unscripted and 100 percent real.
