Movie At The NAT: 'Eight Legged Freaks'

Join Museum scientists as we lampoon campy sci-fi movies at “Science Fiction Science." On Tuesday, April 16th starting at 7pm, come to the San Diego Natural History Museum for the screening of "Eight Legged Freaks."

About the Film:
Hollywood hasn’t gotten the memo: There’s nothing funny about gigantic, poisonous spiders. If you’ve got doubts, come see what we’ve got in the "Dr. Entomo Palace of Exotic Wonders" exhibition and just imagine them the size of a house. Undaunted by this immutable law of nature, director Ellory Elkayem created Eight Legged Freaks, a comedy/horror movie based on his critically acclaimed short called Larger Than Life.

This film has been Rated PG13

Price: Members, Staff, Volunteers $9; Nonmembers $12

Location: San Diego Natural History Museum, 1788 El Prado San Diego, CA 92101 Google Map
