Join instructor Patricia Hyman on Tuesday, April 23rd from 6 - 9pm to learn portrait drawing from the a Picasso approach. Design and create self-portraits using Picasso's approach to Cubism. In this early 20th century art movement, people and objects were painted from more than one viewpoint.
This created the effects of abstracting real to unrecognizable. Start with this fun technique to learn more about the face and its proportions. A self-portrait from a mirror will follow.
Students will have a firm understanding of portraiture drawing by the end of class. Materials list provided upon registration.
