SDSU Symphonic Band Performance

Join the SDSU Symphonic Band as they perform at Smith Recital Hall on April 28th at 4pm.

The SDSU Symphonic Band is open to all university students and performs a variety of wind literature for varying levels of musicians. One of the group’s goals is to expose music education majors to band literature that will be appropriate for all levels of students in the public school music curriculum. The ensemble is also open to non-SDSU students through the College of Extended Studies.

Conductor, Shannon Kitelinger is the Director of Bands at San Diego State University where he conducts the university Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, as well as teaching courses in conducting, wind literature, and music theory.
