This Camp for grades 6-8 features Bonsai, Ikebana (flower arrangement), Sumi-e (ink brush painting), Sushi making, candy sushi making, Koi biology, Karate lesson, Japanese Anime class, fun games, portraits in Japanese Yukata (cotton kimono), Japanese craft making, and the Garden tour.
$100 for members, $110 for non-members. The Garden welcomes children with special needs. If you have any questions, please call 619-232-2721 X105.
Scholarships for Summer Camp are available to students based on financial need. Other restrictions may apply. For more information on scholarship availability, please call 619-232-2721 ext. 105. Scholarships are made possible thanks to generous donation from The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership.
If you cancel your registration within 10 days of the camp your payment is non-refundable. If you cancel prior to this period you will be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee. In the event that minimum enrollment is not met, the Garden reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the camp. If this occurs, your tuition will be refunded in full.
