If you are like instructor Gillian Moss, you have fabrics that hang out right at the back of your storage containers and they've been there for many years. Maybe the fabric was a bargain or a spur of the moment purchase. Whatever the reason, let’s get those pieces out, cheer them up and use them. Gillian will show you how.
Make some stencils and paint fabric. Students will look at, explore and discuss samples that have already been made using different techniques and materials.
This experimental workshop is designed as a kick start to get your creative juices going and is about rejuvenating old fabrics so you can produce new art quilts or traditional quilts. Materials list provided upon registration.
