What Is CalFresh?

CalFresh is a nutrition assistance program that helps income eligible seniors to buy the food they need to stay healthy, like fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, and dairy products!

These benefits are given on EBT cards (similar to ATM cards) and can be used at places such as: Grocery Stores and other stores such as Wal Mart and Sprouts.

The CalFresh Workshop staff will prescreen you to determine your eligibility and assist you to complete a CalFresh application. If you are a senior or disabled person and NOT receiving SSI, you may qualify!

Please bring to the workshop:
• Proof of Identification
• Soc. Security
• Proof of Income
• Proof of rent
• Proof of Utility Bills
• Medical Bills
