Internationally acclaimed Hungarian pianist Endre Hegedűs will return on Saturday, February 2, at 7 p.m. to the intimate setting of the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center in the only San Diego appearance of his current North American tour.
His program will include works by Bach, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, and Mussorgsky. Mr. Hegedűs is a graduate of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music of Budapest, Hungary, in both performance and pedagogy, where he is currently Professor of Piano.
The concert is co-sponsored by the House of Hungary, San Diego, and the Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library.
A complimentary intermission reception featuring delicious Hungarian pastries will offer an opportunity to mingle with fellow music lovers.
Tickets are only $15 at the door; there is no charge for children under 12.
